i was watching a documentary called "the parking lot movie" and one of the attendants does a little singing in it... and it caught my attention.
it caught my brother's attention too because he emailed me the links to the youtube videos of the songs from the movie. they're great. very southern sounding - befitting the virginia corner parking lot that hosts the performance.

I love how twangy it is, but classic still. As in, not country pop in any way. His lyrics are interesting.
